In The Demon's Head #122: Music On The Wind
June 7, 2013
Hello everyone and happy Friday. This past week has been a hell of a learning experience. I'm excited about the look and feel of the new blog, and how it's featured on my website. All in all, it makes publishing the blog a lot easier. I'm also very excited about where it will take me going forward. Today we'll look at the final picture this week:

Hello everyone and happy Friday. This past week has been a hell of a learning experience. I'm excited about the look and feel of the new blog, and how it's featured on my website. All in all, it makes publishing the blog a lot easier. I'm also very excited about where it will take me going forward. Today we'll look at the final picture this week:
Music On The Wind
The sound jingled across the air,
Calling to me,
In a melody,
Of twisted proportions,
It played to me,
Begging to be heard,
As it danced across the wind,
I listened to the melody,
And danced,
In a sick way,
Wishing that I could stop,
But it didn't work that way,
Instead,
I weaved,
Back and forth,
In time,
The demonic beat,
Called to me,
And forced me forward,
I danced,
With little regard,
Or regret,
I sprung forward,
Only wishing,
That I could stop myself,
But away I went,
Through the woods,
And finally to a stop,
The ground dropped in front of me,
The pit breathed,
And spit,
I couldn't stop myself,
The music called from below,
Louder now,
In a damned melody,
That couldn't be real,
And as if on just instinct,
I jumped,
The red screamed,
Pulled me in,
And hit the ground,
The world went black,
For a second,
Then light flooded my eyes,
Reality,
In a cold sweat,
I cried,
I began to wonder,
What it meant,
Then I heard it,
The music,
Called again,
I stepped outside into the air,
Determined to follow it,
About The Piece
"Music On The Wind" was an odd piece with the ability to question reality. It's stuff like that, that I thoroughly enjoy. Thoughts range and what not, but I'm one to believe that if you can call reality into question, and do it well, you've done okay. I'm willing to bet that there's some questions about the end of the piece. I'd love to read them in the comments. I may or may not answer.
Monday I'll return with the newest piece, in the meantime, check out the Library to pick up a copy of any of the books and stories I have available. You can also go to the interact with me page, and find me on your media wagon of choice. Finally, you can sign up for my personal mailing list by filling out the form to the right, then click subscribe. For Google Chrome users, put in your email and hit enter.
Until the next time you want to take a trip through the gates of hell, and into the demon's head, I'm Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface.
