In The Demon's Head #177: 3 Year Anniversary
March 3, 2014
Hello everyone and welcome back to In The Demon's Head. It's been nearly a month since my last post. In reality, I missed this anniversary by quite a bit. However, as some of you may know, I ended up in the hospital on the 10th of February. I have a condition known as Hydrosytholis (Not sure if the spelling is right) What that means is I have fluid on my brain. The fluid didn't drain like it was supposed to and I ended up having to have a second VP shunt put in. This shunt drains the excess fluid off my brain. This has kept the excessive headaches that I've been feeling for a good long while at bay. I'm excited to say that I'm also getting back to my work on my writing. The new writing really starts with this post. I'd like to tell you what I've got coming this year and some more information.

First off, tomorrow I will be releasing my next collection, a short collection entitled "Within The Walls" it will only run .99$ and will be available at most major retailers: Barns and Noble, Smashwords, and Amazon, on day one, with a slew of other retailers coming later.
Next on the docket is a novella. I'm working on it, I've got a cover in mind, however, no title. Earlier this year I started approaching the business a little bit differently. I created a publishing list. I need to change it up a little because I lost some time in the hospital and recovery.
The intention right now is to release two more novella's this year. A blog recap collection at the end of the year. If I can I intend to maybe release a novel this year. That last one is up in the air depending on what else happens.
On this blog front, some of you know what kind of journey that I've been on with this blog as I celebrate its third birthday. Originally, this blog started out as a writers handbook. I quickly realized that I'm not in the position to give writing advice. On top of that I didn't have enough topics to keep the blog afloat. The blog post became few and far between as I didn't have a lot of topics that I felt comfortable with. I slowly transitioned to a once a week format that gave a general update on my progress.
This was the kind of thing that I did for about a year or so. Then my wonderful Fiancé gave me the idea for the photo poetry thing that I started last year. I quickly learned that this was my forte. People immediately began to enjoy the post. So I've decided that the post will be my calling card for my blog. I love doing them and I'm glad to see that people have associated with them. Plus, it gives new eyes to my website, which is never a bad thing.
Today marks my 177th post. Over 3 years I have 177 post, I'm excited. I keep counting them down and I hope that you continue to join me as I approach 200 and beyond. I can't thank you guys enough for being a part of this journey.
I'd like to remind you to check out the Library to pick up your copy of any of my available work. Be sure to sign up for the mailing list so you don't miss any information or an edition of In The Demons' Head. Pick your channel to interact me by clicking here. Finally, if you enjoy what you read on this blog give it a share using the channels at the top or the bottom of the post. Until the next time you want to take a trip through the gates of hell, and into the demon's head, I'm Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface.
