Hello everyone, I hope that this particular post finds you well. First off, let me start by saying that I hope that you have a happy thanksgiving. The reason that I'm writing this post today is very simple, I want to explain to you what's been going on with me the last few weeks.
At the start of the month, I started writing with National Novel Writing month. I felt great going in, and fully intended to finish the month strong. However, it didn't quite turn out that way. About half way through I got an offer to work more hours at a second job that I took for the holiday season. It's a job that I really want to do well in and hopefully find myself in a good place within that company should my writing not take off.
Between the 50-60 hour weeks, little to no days off, my wife, and other things I need to attend to, It's damn hard to find time to put words to paper. Now I'm in no way suggesting that I'm putting up the paper so to speak. I'm not very old, and I feel that there's plenty left that I can offer in writing.
Writing is in my blood and it's what I Love to do. All that this really means is that there are going to be fewer blog post from me. I'll be publishing things as I finish them, but it may take a little longer. Things like that are what I expect. As always, I'll keep you up to date as everything unfolds but I wanted to get this out there so everyone kind of knew what I had going on.
I'm sorry if I've let anyone down, that was never my intention. However, real life and things like it take precedence. One last thing before I go though. They say that becoming a full time writer is statistically unlikely. They also said that statistically I'd never live. I'd like to take their stats and wipe my ass with them. One day it's going to happen, but it could take longer then I previously planned. Stay along for the journey my friends.
Until the next time you want to take a trip through the gates of hell and into the demon's head, I'm Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface.
