In The Demon’s Head #230: A Month Away Leads to Play
July 30, 2015
Holy shit, I’m writing this post on Wednesday night (The night before this post goes live for all of you wonderful readers) and realized upon saving it that this is the first post that I’ve written in over a month. It seems that in that month, a lot of things have changed. A lot of things have finally been finished, and someone has celebrated a birthday. So fuck it let’s get started with the light side of things.

Happy Birthday Liz
I get it, most of you likely don’t give a shit that my wife celebrated her 24th birthday earlier this week, if that’s true then I get it. But, this is where I can share my random thoughts for the day so I’d like to take a moment and say a special Happy Birthday to on of the only people in the entire world who can put up with my shit constantly. I love you and want to say thank you for everything you do for me.
Finishing My Third Novel this year
So about a week ago, I managed to finish my third novel this year. That’s a pretty damn impressive accomplishment if I do say so myself. I’m pretty damn stoked about the fact that this novel is now finished and I’m able to move on to the editing phase of the writer’s life. It’s a vicious cycle when it comes to the creative arts but I hope that it all pays off and that you guys enjoy the books when they finally hit virtual shelves next year.
Joining The Apple Revolution
The shitty part about working on a computer in an attempt to chase a dream, is that your computer will eventually shit out. Now, mine has been on the outs for the last couple of months and I knew that in reality I needed a new computer. I knew that I really needed something that was going to hopefully grow with me and help me work better as a writer. With that in mind we went looking for computers a couple of weeks ago.
I had no intention of really buying a Macbook, partially because of the price, and partially because I didn’t know if I was going to like them. My wife tried to qwell my fears and make sure that I was sure that I wanted to break down and buy the Macbook, I finally said screw it, there were a lot of pros that outweighed the cons. As we speak I’m writing this blog post on my new Macbook Air, I’m pretty damn excited to say the least and I really hope that this computer grows with me, I think that it will.
New Jobs A Foot
On top of everything else that’s gone on in the last month, I’ve also managed to get me a new job. Part of the reason that I wasn’t writing these post as often as I would like is because I was adjusting to this new job. With that said I started to really find my grove within that job and really started to be able to work when I came home. Because of that, I have this blog post being written out to share with all of you.
Going Forward
This is the first post of many in the coming months and weeks as I venture forward and get ready for the publication road. I’m damn excited and I hope that you’ll join me as we move forward on this journey together.
Until the next time you want to take a trip through the gates of hell and into the demon’s head, I’m Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface.
