In The Demons’ Head: Achieving A Dream
December 16, 2016
Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of “In The Demons’ Head” Today is going to be an interesting post as I explain something that happened actually a couple of months ago, tough I’ve just now gotten around to telling everyone about it. As the post title articulates, I’ve achieved a dream of mine for quite some time, and it’s not quite the dream that most would expect. Let me explain.

You see back in 2012, I purchased a Can-Am Spyder, and my wife was interested but didn’t fall in love with the machine the way I did. In fact, it was quite the opposite, she was afraid of it. But, I wanted her to learn to ride, and to want to ride her own, because I knew how cool it was, I realized how freeing and surreal it was to be open in the wind that way. It was and is, like nothing else I’ve ever experienced in my life. I wanted my wife to experience that as well.
One of the biggest problems was that she didn’t have her own ride. That was until August of this year. That was when we finally pulled the trigger and got her a bike that she could call her own. It only took a couple of days before she was able to really get out and give it a good run for the first time, and I’ll never forget seeing her face when she got home and it was sitting in the driveway.
You know I like to say that I don’t have a heart, but when it come to my wife, I greatly love to see a smile on her face, especially when they’re like the one I saw the day that bike was delivered. There are fewer joys in the world that I’ve ever felt like I did that day. That’s why I entitled this post, Achieving a dream, and not achieving a goal, because for a long while, this was a dream of hers and as long as it’s her dream, then it’s mine as well.
There’s a lot of sappy that I could say, but I won’t. I don’t see the need. At the end of the day I’m just happy that she was so excited, and now has fallen in love with riding like I have. So, if your out on the roads next summer, or this Christmas, maybe this new year, and if you see 3 wheels, give us a wave and a nod. We’re always on the road looking for new friends.
With that said it’s getting late here, so I’m going to wrap up this post. Yeah, it wasn’t one of those post full of information or something of the nature, but I felt that for those of you who’ve been reading my blog for quite some time, I figured you’d enjoy the story. So thank you for giving it a read. Be sure to join me on Facebook, Twitter, and if you haven’t sign up for the mailing list, all of them would be appreciated. Until next time you want to take a trip through the gates of hell and into the demons’ head, I’m Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface.
