In The Demon's Head #140: Bound To The Rails
June 10, 2013
Hey guys, it's Wednesday and we're a step closer to the weekend. Hell I know the five day work week after such a short one last week has got me ready for a Friday. I'm amped about the coming weeks though, going to be extremely busy trying to get everything done. It's part of the reason that I love this profession. It keeps you busy. Regardless, I need to show you today's picture so you can get down to reading what's posted after it.

Bound To The Rails
It had been abandoned long ago,
Left behind,
When the world moved on,
To it's newest above ground transport,
But it's still in this hallowed tunnel,
That you find,
Some of the lost stories,
And left behind facts,
From those that once used it,
And from those that called it home,
You can hear them wonder the rails,
Calling out for help,
But when the lights flash,
They're gone,
And it's quiet,
But in your head,
The voices carry on,
They call to you,
As you walk further,
Along the darkness,
The spirits tell a story,
Of the horrors that happened there long ago,
The night in question,
Was the last night the train operated,
The legend has it,
That the train was barreling down the tracks,
At twice the speed it was supposed to,
And as he approached the next platform,
Dozens of people jumped,
The conductor laughed as the blood spilled all over the window,
His hysterical laughter is said to be heard,
Still in the empty tunnel,
The ride to hell ended,
As they neared a turn,
And it went to sharp,
The train, and all of it occupants,
Went through the wall,
Almost killing them all instantly,
Now they find themselves locked,
Inside the hellish tunnel,
That became their end,
And it's said,
There are some nights,
Where you can hear the train coming,
In fact,
I think I hear the whistle now
About The Piece
This is really your standard ghost story with a twist. I saw the picture and the idea of a cool ghost story came to mind that's what I ran with. I hope you guys enjoyed it. Feel free to share your comments down in the section below.
