In The Demon's Head #149: Diamonds in the Sunlight
August 2, 2013
It's Friday. and that means that it's time for the third and final piece in the trilogy. This week has been full of a lot of fun. I appreciate any new readers I may have gathered. I hope you guys have enjoyed this trilogy and I feel that it won't be the last one I do. With that said let me show you the picture that will give inspiration to the closing of this story.

Diamonds in The Sunlight
We flew in different directions,
Seconds spanned,
And it seemed like forever,
But they found it,
The ability to communicate,
Through our minds,
Saved us that night,
I'm sure,
We found the rock,
It wasn't large,
But it was big enough,
It was his precious,
And with it,
We meant to call an end to this,
So we banded together,
And hauled the rock,
Room by room,
Until we reached him,
He didn't see it coming,
Until we were there,
He turned and stared,
I flew forward,
"Your treatment of our kind,
Ends now,"
And on cue,
They hurled the rock,
He couldn't react,
And it hit him in the temple,
Instantly there was blood,
He fell,
And we flew away,
The man,
Who bought,
Sold,
And traded us,
As if we were property,
Is no more,
Luck was on our side that day,
But in my head,
I can't think but help,
That had the man not come along,
We would be in the same boat,
Who was that man,
We've never seen him since,
We're just grateful he was there,
When he was,
I wonder where he is now,
About the Piece
Overall, This trilogy was a good one I think. I intentionally left the ending open ended. There are a few things that could have happened with the strange man from part 2. I'm leaving it up to you to decide who you think he was, or what it was that he was doing. I hope that you guys enjoyed this trilogy. I'd love your comments on the completed thing, so feel free to share them below.

It's easy and well worth it. You can also join me on social media at a number of channels. Pick your poison at this link. Until the next time you want to take a trip through the gates of hell and into the demon's head, I'm Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface.
