In The Demons’ Head: Introducing “Book It” A Wrestling Theme Blog
June 24, 2016
Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of In The Demon’s Head. When I last left you, you I explained how I had used an editorial calendar to help me build a list of blog post that were finally going to see the light of day. The best part of that whole process is that I can plan out blog post well, WELL in advance which makes for a keeping things extremely organized and together. With that said I also realize that while some of the topics on this blog will afford me plenty to talk about, there are other weeks where I likely won’t have much to say, update, or add to the Demons’ blog. However, I’ve come up with a solution to that particular problem. You see, this whole thing started as a way to give me more publishing freedom, and more content to make available on my website so I developed a new blog, entitled “Book It!”

So then the question becomes, What is Book It?
Well there’s two sides to this blog and it’s quite simple, it’s based on wrestling and creativity. Here’s how it’s going to work.
Every week, I will take a scenario and I will play the role of a wrestling booker, what that means is I will make creative decisions to tell a story and eventually lead to an outcome in wrestling. If you know anything about wrestling then your aware of how that all works. If not then I will hopefully slowly introduce you into the world of wrestling and the characters within.
So this blog works for me on two levels, one, it give me a chance to write a weekly post about something I love which is Wrestling. On the other hand it also allows me to be creative in a way that flexes muscles that I might not have otherwise used and that’s always a good thing.
At the end of the day, the blog is basically meant to give me a little more publishing space on my website and another home known as PwPop. The idea is just to have more content readily available and have a different spin on things. So far, I’ve also managed to map out the first 10 editions of the blog and they are as follows:
July 12, 2016: Debut Post, In depth review of what’s to come
July 19, 2016: Goldberg’s Winstreak And Loss
July 26, 2016: Owen’s Final Road
August 2, 2016: Anonymous Raw General Manager
And that’s just the first four post. I have plans laid out to have post run all the way into September. However, you’ll have to check out the debut post on July 12 in order to get a full schedule of things going forward.
For now, though I’ll leave you with this. This is a new journey in the world of blogging for me. I’ve been trying to stay productive and keep on track and I hope that all of the planning that I’m doing will do just that. I’ll be back next week as I discuss the shitty world that is editing a book.
Be sure to check me out on twitter by clicking the follow button above. If you like the post that I’m putting out please feel free to share them on whatever social media sites you frequent and last but not least. Please feel free to join the mailing list where you will receive this blog every week as it posts as well as news on upcoming events, and publications.
Until the next time you want to take a trip through the gates of hell and into the demon’s head, I’m Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface.
