In The Demon’s Head #250: Kicking Off The New Year
Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of “In The Demon’s Head” This is the first time I’ve written on this blog in almost two months. It’s strange to think that I’m actually almost a month shy of the four year anniversary for this blog. That’s both beautiful and horrifying for a couple of different reasons. Neither of those really matter at this point though as I’m writing this particular post for a completely different reason. Well a couple of reasons actually. Let’s start with the more basic and simple one, Youtube

New Years Resolutions
So everyone knows at this point that I’m also writing the “Might As Well Say Fuck It Blog” and I’m very excited about that blog as well as the other projects that I’ve been working on. The thing is, earlier this year I started to play around with Youtube for a few different reasons, and I learned that I really like putting together promo videos and just fun videos. Because of that I’ve resolved that I want to use Youtube more in the coming year.
Now, the extent of the videos that will go live on Youtube will range in a lot of things. I may rant off in one video, promote something in one, maybe do a reading in one, who really knows. It just depends but I’m to the point where I’m going to use my writing youtube channel to help entertain people. After all, isn’t it true that I’m selling myself in terms of fans?
So since that’s out of the way, let’s move onto the second story for this particular post.
2016: An Adventure On Wattled
So I’ve debating on this for a while and I’ve decided that I’m going to go forward with this particular idea in 2016. I’m going to release what I hope will be a very interactive and fulfilling journey. I’m not sure how I want to do this just yet. What I mean is I’m not sure if I want to develop a whole new world and play within that sandbox. Sort of like building my own D and D campaign of sorts and you’re all players. Here’s how I’m thinking my system will work.
I want to release between 1500-3000 words a week, these will be in the form of chapters, scenes, whatever they fall into. At the end of the piece I’m going to give a few options and basically I’m aiming for people to vote on them. I want people interacting, guessing, and growing with the characters as I spin my way through this whole world that I’m creating. I hope you guys will enjoy it and will come along on the adventure. It’s going to be interesting for sure.
Well there you have it. This is short for sure but my goals are laid out in black and white. Literally, I’m hoping that I can stick to them and use both platforms to help launch me to another level in writing.
Until the next time you want to take a trip through the gates of hell and into the demon’s head, I’m Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface. By the way be sure to follow me on wattPad by clicking here. Also, join me on Facebook by clicking here. Last, if you would subscribe to youtube by clicking here.
