In The Demons’ Head: Learn Scrivener Fast Review Pt. 4
September 9, 2016
Hello everyone and welcome to September, honestly I’ve spent the last few weeks doing a third edit on my newest Project. But more on that at a later date. That’s because I don’t have a bunch of information that I wanted to share at this point.
So with that, I thought about this post and went back and forth. I wasn’t sure how to do this particular section of the review. I was going to tack it on to the post last week but I realized that doing that would have stretched last week’s post to well over a thousand words. I’ve been very insistent that my posts don’t quite drag on that long. Because of that I’ve decided that I was going to hold out and I was going to write this post to give a full, legitimate review of the Learn Scrivener Fast Course.

Ease of Use
Honestly, this course is divided and set up perfectly for just about anyone to use. Each module is divided up so that you’re aware what you’re studying at that exact moment. The course is divided into five modules and each one is aptly named so that your always aware of what you need to watch when you’re ready for whatever you need Scrivener to do for you. Also, the other bonus thing here is that all of the videos are in watchable chunks. The longest video, outside of the interview that’s in one of the section is 8 minutes long. You can get quite a bit accomplished in a short time if you need to.
Coverage of Material
When I took the course I didn’t know what to expect. I thought that I could learn some stuff from the program and man was I ever right. The program is massive and I have to admit that it covers a ton of things. Things that you didn’t know that Scrivener could do. Also, things that you didn’t realize that you wanted Scrivener to do.
With the way that everything is broken down it also does quite a bit to make sure that it’s not extremely repetitive which is something you can’t get out of most courses. Now, that’s not to say that some things weren’t repetitive or in some cases not needed but it’s defiantly something that someone will likely use down the road which is obviously a positive.
Overall Value
So I got the entire course as a special offer and at a 100 dollar discount. If I remember correctly (mind you I bought this course over 3 months ago) I paid 149 bucks. Now, I’ll be completely honest for 150 bucks with all of the bonus content, this is something that was worth the money for sure. However, there’s no way I would have bought the course for 250 dollars. I know what most of you are probably thinking, it’s only 100 dollars right? But, 100 dollars is 100 dollars.
With that said, I have to say that if you can get the class at a decent discount then it’s totally worth it. Otherwise I’d say probably not spend the almost 3 bills to pick up the course. There’s things you can learn on your own with a bit of practice. I know that might sound slightly counter-productive in a way but that’s my personal thoughts on the value of the course.
Overall Thoughts
So admit the almost 2500 words that I’ve written about Learn Scrivener Fast I don’t think I’ve ever really expressed how I felt about the program overall, which is what I aim to do now.
Honestly, this program is amazing. It does a lot of things and helps to take the guesswork our of learning Scrivener and the funny thing is I still haven’t even done the bonus section yet. I had planned on doing that and talking about it in this post but decided that was too much content to slam into one post.
All of it was a lot of fun to do and helped me learned a lot about a program that I’m likely to use for the remainder of my writing career. That’s provided something else better doesn’t come along. Either way it’s been a lot of fun to do this review and to take the course. It’s been even more fun sharing the experience with all of you guys. So for now, I’m going to bow out and give “Learn Scrivener Fast” a giant seal of of approval. Check it out.
For now, though be sure to follow me on Twitter, Like me on Facebook, and join me on the mailing list by clicking here. Until the next time you want to take a trip through the gates of hell and into the demons’ head, I’m Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface.
