In The Demon's Head #145: Painting on the Wall
July 26, 2013
What's going on everyone, it's Friday. Not that it really means a hell of a lot to most of us considering that Friday is just another day on the work week wheel. Regardless of that nature, it's still Friday which means that we're wrapping up our week together with one final post. I hope that you guys have enjoyed this week as much as I have. I have to say again that I'm so happy to be back behind the computer. It's a good day to say the least. Let's take a look at this picture.

Painting On The Wall
Her eyes tell a story,
Written in blood,
For the world to see,
Her story is one of anger,
Rage,
Jealousy,
And lust,
I've lived her story,
But I'm still not sure how,
My dreams tend to haunt me regularly,
About what has happened to her,
And until this very moment,
I had no idea who,
Or even what she was,
Just that she was alone,
Unloved,
And no one was there to save her,
In the end,
She's dead,
But all of it feels so real to me,
I wake up with cuts,
Bruises,
And unexplained markings,
And now,
As I walk through this museum,
I see her,
For the first time,
In her light,
As a painting,
Her tale seems all too real,
And all I want is to save her,
But I can't,
Because it isn't real,
At least not in the world,
Maybe in that world,
Her world,
It is real,
But maybe in her world,
I'm just a painting on the wall,
About the Piece
This piece was an interesting to write for me. It left some open air for questions, and that's the way I really like things. I love to leave some questions up in the air. It's something that I really enjoy most about the writing process. I'd love to know your thoughts and feedback, drop a line in the comments section.
You can also connect with me by going to this page and clicking on the link to the social channel or channels you use most. I'd love to connect with you. Also, you can subscribe to the mailing list, you'll get tons of freebees and other information as it becomes available. Until the next time you want to take a trip through the gates of hell and into the demon's head, I'm Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface.
