In The Demon's Head #227: Let's Play The Victim
June 22, 2015
Welcome to another frolic filled adventure that is another edition of "In The Demon's Head." Before I get started with this weeks' edition I'd like to get something off my chest.
This is the first edition of this blog that I've written since I shook the chains off and decided that I was going to write and say whatever the fuck I wanted about whatever I wanted regardless of the perception that it gave me. I get it, some people are going to think I'm an asshole (Hint, I really kind of am) or that I'm angry, mean-spirited or whatever other crooked shit you've decided to label someone for shits and giggles.

The fact is when I start ranting while writing, (again hint: it could happen semi-frequently with the way I'm approaching this blog now) it may seem that I'm angry, bitter, sorry, early into his adult years writer who hasn't reached the level of fame and success that he feels that he deserves.
That's half right, I am kind of bitter and angry, I mean lets face it I really dislike a lot of things in life. What's not to dislike? A lot of people are killing each other for the sake of five fucking dollars. Parents are killing their children, police are apparently racist, and everyone is a victim.
It's the Poor me generation that has become a staple in America in the last 10-15 years. If I had to put a shift date on it, I'd say that it happened right around the time of 9/11. If I'm wrong, and I could be, then show me where in the hell it all went south. Because I've got a feeling I'm not the only living mother fucker that wants to know.
For me it's not even there that the buck stops. It's these self-important douche bags who take everything for granted because they've been handed everything. So when things don't go quite their way they're the victim. Let's get one thing straight: being a victim and playing a victim are two separate things.
This whole idea really started because of a conversation I recently had with a co-worker. They're tone and word choices reminded me about a previous incident I had with a different co-worker and I realized that even as people age, they're all about themselves. The fact is in today's world, if you're not the victim, then you're not being treated fairly or getting the attention you should. It's that kind of mentality that's going to completely destroy this country, if it hasn't already.
So now I lay it out there, what say you? What are your thoughts on those who feel that everything should be about them, even if they have to play the victim to get the attention? Have you seen something like this? Share your thoughts in the comments, and let me know.
If this post offended you, awesome there's the fucking door. If it didn't and you found it comical or entertaining or thought provoking, then subscribe to the mailing list so that you'll get these post delivered directly to your mail box. You can also join me on Facebook . Got some Hate mail? That's fine too send me a message here.
Until the next time you want to take a ride to hell and land inside the Demon's head, I'm Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface.
