In The Demons’ Head #257: Ramping Up Production
July 22, 2015
Hello everyone and welcome To Friday. So recently, I was able to launch the new “Book It” Wrestling themed blog that sits on this website alongside this blog. So far the launch has been a little limited but it’s already working. I’m really liking the blog and enjoying the people that have responded to the blog. But that’s a different blog, and this is this blog. (Yeah, grammatically that sentence probably didn’t make sense but that happens.)

In fact, that above paragraph sort of bleeds into the topic of this particular post, ramping up production. Let me tell you a bit of a story on this.
If some of you have been following this blog for the last few months, most of you will realize that I started posting more frequently right toward the end of May into June (I think that’s right anyway, hell most of the days for me are lost anymore it seems like.) It was also around that time I discovered a way to make a production calendar on Google Calendars which helps keep everything organized for me. Including but not limited to the post that I place on this blog. In fact, for the first time since I launched this blog I have topics rolled out for almost two months with this blog, and then I have things laid out until October for “Book It” So production is at a high there.
But that’s not all, not by a long-shot. This calendar has also helped me develop and set up times for me to write newsletters to those of you who have signed up to my mailing list. The best part of that is that I can now stay organized and have the ability to send free things to those of you on the list, aside from the book you get for signing up. Honestly, I haven’t done a lot with that mailing list and I have to be honest that’s a huge problem. Why? Because It’s limited the amount of exposure and outright love I’m showing to the people who have been interested in my work enough, to sign up for the list. So this month, people will receive a free piece that hasn’t been debuted to the public yet, and they’ll be receiving their second consecutive newsletter… see I am already getting better.
But it still doesn’t stop there. Not even close. You see, I’m also marking 2016 as the year of my debut novel. Now, I’ve made this promise in the past but I feel with enough work I can get my first novel out and into the hands of the public by 2016 with a lot more to come in 2017. I’ll share more on the book when things are a little more finalized but I’m really hoping that I can finally call myself a published novelist by the end of the year. It’s been 4 years in the making and if I can achieve that then that will be another major milestone that I can tick off the list.
I’m also planning on possibly a short novella to be released this year or early in 2017. I haven’t quite made the jump on that one yet we’ll have to see how it all plays out. There are a couple of ideas that I’m toying around with as far as that goes. Stay tuned as things hopefully shape up in the right direction.
For now though, I’ll put the final words on this post by saying thank you to those of you who have been reading this blog for the last four years. Those of you who have read the word I’ve published on WattPad, those of you who have purchased the books through an online retailer, and those who have signed up to the mailing list. They say all the time that this kind of career is a marathon and not a sprint, I can only hope that they’re right because I’ve got a lot more in the tank and I’m ready for whatever comes next.
Until the next time you want to take a trip through the gates of hell and into the demons’ head I’m Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface. Be sure to sign up for the mailing list and like the page on Facebook, and follow me on twitter. Thanks guys.
