In The Demon's Head: #136
July 1, 2013
Hello everyone it's officially July, which means we're all going to melt quicker than shit here soon. However, the heat isn't the reason for this post. Hell I didn't even come prepared with a new piece of writing to give you today. In fact, today I come to you with a small story, an option, and I want you to weigh in.
A lot of people have been surfing my website lately. For that I thank you. Around a month ago, I thought that it was an intelligent decision to move my blog "In The Demon's Head" over to the website. It's brought me some really good success. I've seen traffic increase over the last month, mainly on the days that I post new topics for "In The Demon's Head" which is understandable.

About a couple of weeks ago, I began to think about something. First, I read a blog post about vlogs. For those of you who don't know what that is, that is a video blog. Otherwise, a video. Then they began to talk about podcast. Both of these interested me but I wasn't sure what direction I could go with them, or if they would even be worth working on.
Then I realized, I could do a weekly vlog, or podcast on the progress that I was making, and on anything new that may have come up for me in the past week. From there, I set out to decide on a day and I thought why not Thursday? With the Blast from the Past post that I've been doing, I've got something new every other week day so why not?
But why? Why spend more time on something like this? The answer is simple, new content= new visitors. Every person who has started their own brands, their own careers understand that the more people that see things, the better you'll do. That's where the videos would come in, I could load them onto youtube, and the website, and there's more content that people can check out by yours truly.
This is where ya'll come in. The fact is, I'm still up in the air on wanting to do this. I don't want to do this if no one else cares, or doesn't want more stuff. The blog has a proven track record and I thank you guys. But I want to see if that proven track record can transcend over and help build a new audience. It would be a simple 5-7 minute video every week. Probably nothing special, just some random weird guy talking into the camera of his I-phone.
So now it's your turn to weigh in, the comments section at the bottom is open, sound off there. If you'd like to post a comment on my facebook page you can do that as well, or even on twitter. While you're there give me a like, or a follow. Check out this page for all my social media connections.
Until the next time you want to take a trip through the gates of hell, I'm Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface.
