In The Demon's Head #155: Faces
August 25, 2013
Holy shit it's been a while I've sat down to write a blog post. The last couple of weeks have been busy as hell for me. I've formatted; edited, and worked on "Blackout" I really hope that you guys enjoy the book, which is being released today. I'll post links at the end of this post, I hope that you guys will check it out, 2.99 and available on Smashwords, Amazon, and soon to be a number of other retailers. Let's take a look at today's picture:

Faces
Sleep came easily,
Though the dreams continue to haunt me,
They all work the same,
Black and white,
And I'm walking,
Chasing something,
That I can't ever see,
I go through the woods,
Dodging trees left and right,
And finally,
I come to the cliff,
I'm overlooking the water,
And there I stand,
Suspended by the idea,
That I am here,
But what does it all mean,
Night after night,
The dreams go,
But I've learned,
That your subconscious,
Can tell some interesting stories,
And this one,
Seems to take the cake,
In the water below,
I see the faces,
Of those who have surrounded me,
In the past,
Staring at me,
Blankly,
I feel the urge,
I know what they want,
And I jump,
The wind rushes past me at speeds,
I can only dream of,
And just before,
I slam into the water,
I wake up,
In a cold sweat,
As I come to,
The faces of in the water,
Stare around at me,
And then disappear,
Life this way,
Isn't easy,
But it's the life I live,
And I'll do it all again tomorrow,
Because my mind never sleeps,
And one day it will provide,
With the stories I need,
To change the world,
About The Piece
This piece is an interesting mix of different ideas that swirled in my head. The mash up came out interestingly enough and I hope that you guys enjoyed reading it.
Remember, you can subscribe to my mailing list for a ton of extra stuff including offers, contest, updates, and a subscription to the blog. You can do that by signing up on the right hand side of the screen. Also, "Blackout" is now officially available and you can pick it up by going to the Library and selecting a retailer from the bottom. Finally, I will not be having a Blast from the Past post this week, this means that I will return on Wednesday with another new post.
Until the next time you want to take a trip through the gates of hell, and into the demon's head, I'm Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface.
