In The Demon's Head #120: The Girl From The Forest
June 3, 2013
Everyone grows, and learns. It's part of the process, especially as a writer. You have to grow, and learn, and evolve if you want to get any better. That's in essence, where I find myself now. My homes online were working against each other. I had my social media places, my blog, and my website. I've now brought The Website, and Blog together as a way of doing two things. 1. It expands the site's reach, and that's always positive. 2. It links the blog and the website together. This is a massive improvement over what I had. However, this upgrade doesn't change how things will be done on the blog. Instead, it will help me do them better. With that said, let's check out today's picture:

The Girl From The Forest
She's seen going in and out of the trees,
At a blur,
Her name,
Is unknown,
But her appearances,
Are legendary,
She's haunted these woods,
For over 200 years,
No one knows what happened,
Or why she chose here,
As her final place,
To call home,
But we can't deny,
She is here,
There has been talk,
For years,
Of her around here,
But no one wanted to believe,
It was true,
Until they started seeing her,
She's small,
Almost like a child,
Her face,
Always sad,
And her tears,
Always the shade of blood,
Those who wanted to help her,
Don't know how,
And those who could,
Are long gone,
The forest,
Is claimed for her,
And her alone,
No one walks foot in,
For fear of what may happen,
I'm one to believe,
That those tears,
Are only begging for a friend,
But I don't intend to find out,
We'll continue to walk on about our way,
As she stays in the forest,
And lives out eternity,
Alone,
