In The Demon's Head #206: Vacations and Recharging
Hello my friends, it's been a very long time since I've written a blog post. In fact upon saving this, it's been exactly three months. It's kind of crazy to think that it's been that long since I've published or posted any kind of post. In that time I actually released a new story, and even got married. It's been a hell of a set few months for me but now I'm back with this post. By the time you read it, I can hope that I will have landed back in the Good old USA but right now I'm sitting in an airport in Cozumel, Mexico.

Some of you may have already known this, but a couple of weeks ago, I got married. That's right, the woman you've heard me refer to as Liz is now officially Mrs. Robinson. It's kind of crazy to think about, however, at the same time I'm extremely happy that I can say that we're now married. Either way, this particular post I'm not here to share a ton of personal stuff. Not because I don't want to open to you, but because this post is about what's coming up the reminder of this year.
As most of you know, today marks the beginning of "National Novel Writing Month" In case you don't know what that is, I'll give you a brief rundown. Between November 1st and 30th, writers try to write the first draft of a novel. That's a crazy to think about but it's something that I've wanted to attempt for a few years, I just haven't ever really had the ambition. This year that changes. I am determined, driven, and I want to finally say I wrote a novel. Plus, I hope that this will kick my ass into gear as I try to get this ball rolling.
But my journey doesn't end on November 30th, exactly the opposite.
From December 1st through my 24th birthday on New Years Eve, I will be working on a BRAND NEW PROJECT.
I don't want to give a lot of details on this yet; mainly I don't want to get too far into thinking about it, however, I am very excited for both of these projects to see the light of day. I think that you too will be very thrilled as you learn what it is that I have planned in the coming weeks.
I can't do this alone, I know that. I intend to keep you guys up to date as I strive to climb toward my 50K word goal and beyond. In the coming weeks, I intend to upload a number of videos on Youtube, as well as post updates and goings on here on the blog. It's going to be a fun journey and I hope that you will join me as I ride out the wave and it turns into something fantastic.
Until the next time you want to take a trip through the gates of hell and into the demon's head, I'm Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface.
Thanks for supporting me. Be sure to like me on Facebook and follow the daily updates of progress, and don't forget to join the mailing list
PS. I landed back in the States, that's a great feeling if I do say so myself.
