In The Demons’ Head: What Makes You A Patriot?
September 16, 2016
Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of In The Demons’ Head. It's been a little while since I've written a post for either of these blogs. I mean hell I spent the better part of the month of August going through the third round of edits for “Leather-Bound” I'm very excited to see the finished product that will hopefully be available to you no later then early 2017. However, that's not why I'm writing this post today.

However, that's not why I'm writing this post today.
nstead, today I want to talk about a hot button issue that has dominated social media conversation for the last few weeks, Colin, the NFL quarterback who started a national shit storm by not standing up for the National Anthem at the start of one of his football games.
I personally don’t see what all of the controversy is about. Let’s be honest, if you’re reading this ask yourself this question: Do you stand for the national anthem at sporting events you’re not attending? I doubt it. And let’s take it a step further, most people don’t even so much as get off their couch for anything of that nature. So why in the hell are you pissed about it? Simple. Because the media tells you to be angry about it. If someone wouldn’t have said “Hey, he’s not standing, he’s being disrespectful!” We wouldn’t have gotten pissed off as a nation over the whole thing.
If you think about it, collectively that’s how the country works. It’s all about how to control the masses based on fear. That’s what the medias’ SOLE purpose is, is to make sure that everyday we wake up, follow the masses, and continue to do what we’re supposed to do. That’s why the media made a huge deal of Colin Kaepernick, it created an uproar that everyone was on one side or another. It’s another way they intend to keep us divided.
That’s what the plan is from the git-go, keep everyone divided. But, at the end of the day I look at it like this, if it’s not this particular story that does it, it’s going to be something else. We’re all about living our own lives with little regard to those around us, at least most of us are. That’s where the problem starts and ends is with us. If we quite buying into the media, and the bullshit then overall, I have to believe that we’ll not only be a better country, but a better people as well.
That’s going to do it for this post, I need to get away from this topic before I turn it into something I shouldn’t. With that said, I’d love to know what you guys think about the whole situation, and where your feelings lie. Share your thoughts in the comments section either here or on Facebook. I look forward to seeing what you have to say.
Until next time you want to take a trip through the gates of hell and into the demons’ head, I’m Kyle Robinson wishing you a safe trip back to the surface. Don’t forget to friend/Follow me on Facebook, follow me on twitter, and sign up for themailing list.
Thanks guys.
